Health Pro Suite is an all-in-one solution for hospitals and clinics, designed to streamline patient care, staff workflows, and medical data management. It features a vital signs monitoring page, real-time patient data, analytics dashboards, and integration with medical devices. The software is accessible via mobile and web platforms, with options for cloud or on-premises deployment.

I designed the vital signs interface, focusing on ease of use and accessibility, to help healthcare providers quickly track and assess patient health metrics.

Background

I’m the sole designer at the company, leading all design initiatives.

I joined Atrizult as the company’s sole UI designer over a year ago, working alongside a team of more than 10+ engineers and collaborating closely with product managers. My role supports design across every facet of our projects, where I lead UI/UX initiatives across critical areas of our platform. Over the past year, I've made significant strides, including:

• Creating a structured design process: This systematized our design workflows, ensuring clear visibility for other teams into our design sprints and enabling better cross-team collaboration.

• Enhancing platform usability: Prior to my role, user experience testing was minimal. I’ve since introduced UX research and usability testing to guide improvements across our projects, contributing to a more intuitive and user-centered product.

• Developing a cohesive design kit: This toolkit has standardized visual elements, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all areas of the platform.

• Building a scalable design system: This framework helps engineering and product teams align with our design decisions and streamline component usage, improving efficiency and communication across departments.

Design Approach

At Atrizult, we approach each project with a structured process inspired by the Double Diamond Theory and Lean UX methodology. This ensures a seamless journey from discovery to delivering refined, user-centered solutions.

Understanding the User
We begin by deeply exploring user needs and challenges. This involves research, interviews, and analyzing data to ensure that we address the right problems and align with user expectations.

Starting the Design
With clear insights, we transition into ideation, where we develop initial concepts and wireframes. This phase focuses on turning user research into actionable designs that solve identified challenges.

Refining the Design
Feedback and iteration are core to our process. We continuously refine the designs based on user testing and stakeholder input, ensuring the final solution is polished and effective.

Responsive Design
We prioritize creating solutions that adapt seamlessly across devices and screen sizes. This guarantees accessibility and usability for all users, regardless of how they interact with the product.

As the first designer for Health Pro Suite, I was tasked with developing a user-centered approach from the ground up. With no prior version of the platform, I started by conducting in-depth research with healthcare professionals to ensure the design would align closely with the needs of real-world users.

My research focused on:

• Understanding the primary goals and requirements of healthcare providers

• Identifying pain points within typical healthcare workflows

• Ensuring that core tasks within the platform could be performed efficiently and intuitively

This initial research guided the design direction, laying the groundwork for a user-friendly platform tailored to the needs of medical professionals.
